With highlights as spectacular as the Atlantic coast and Bodmin Moor on our doorstep, a holiday at Polrunny Farm will delight adventurers of all ages.

For those that seek out sea-based adventure, using Polrunny Farm as your base, you can surf, kite surf, wind surf, body board, sea kayak, SUP or swim in the Atlantic Ocean. Or you can bounce over the waves in a high-speed inflatable RIB.

So many of Cornwall's best surfing beaches are easily accessible from our Cornish cottages. Surf schools operate from Watergate Bay, Widemouth Bay and Bude.

Getting to a few of our beaches can be an adventure in itself. As well as containing the highest cliffs in Cornwall, the spectacular 40 mile stretch of the South West Coast Path that runs from Bude, through Boscastle and on to Port Isaac and Padstow, contains lots of breath-taking detours down to unspoilt coves, some of which tend to be deserted, even in the summer months.

If you are looking for land-based adventure away from the coast, then why not scale Brown Willy and Rough Tor and swim in Dozmary Pool on Bodmin Moor. Climbing guides also take tours to more technically challenging locations.

Or there's slightly less nature-based pursuits such as those offered at Adrenaline Quarry. That particular establishment's claim to fame is that it throws people off cliffs.

Why not check out our blog for more outdoor pursuits ideas.
