Holiday Cottages

For families

Spending quality time with your children is what holidays in Cornwall are all about. The beaches and caves; boats and sea life; farms and animals; smugglers and stories; and the ice cream and chips have been keeping our young ones happy for generations.

Cornwall’s beaches are the best in the country when it comes to entertaining our children.

Toddlers and younger ones love Rock, Daymer Bay and the other more sheltered coves and sand dunes of the stunning Camel Estuary.

Older children, and their 'big kid' parents, relish the challenge of riding the waves. Surfing, body boarding, kayaking, Stand-Up Paddle boarding, wind surfing and kite surfing are all on the menu at either Bude, Widemouth Bay, Watergate Bay or Newquay, all of which are easily accessible by car from Polrunny Farm.

As our blog shows, Cornwall is about so much more than beaches. There's steam trains, zip-wires, foot-golf, pirates, theme parks and water parks, witches and wizards, and a whole heap more. And there's the Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow, which is possibly the most family-friendly cycle trail anywhere in the country.

And at the end of the day, you will be able to relax in Polrunny Farm's expansive grounds as your children clamber over our brand new outdoor play equipment.
